Book Review: “The Game Changer” by J. Sterling

The Game Changer

This is the second book to Cassie and Jack’s Story (the first is “The Perfect Game”), but really it’s more of 1.5 because it’s everything that happened from the end of the first book to just a little past the epilogue. But back to the nitty gritty. This book made me hate all forms of celebrity magazines and websites! Poor Cassie and Jack F’n Carter! Just when they thought that all of the things that happened with the bitch troll Chrystle were over and finally thinking they can  be happy, BOOM! Ruthless people, the media, and she-who-must-not-be-named have to go and ruin everything, making Cassie and Jack question everything. I don’t want to give too much away but I will say that there were some pretty awesome highlights in the book, like when Melissa tells Cassie  “Just remember one thing… when life gives you lemons, cut ’em open and squeeze the juice in life’s face!!!!! That’ll teach life to mess with you! HA!” I literally had to put the book down after reading that because I was laughing so hard. Oh, and Jack F’n Carter and those damn quarters! Please, can I be his Kitten, even for a day? But seriously, J. Sterling is amazing. I mean she was able to go back and tell the story in such a way that didn’t make you want to go insane and had me on my toes the entire time, although I knew how it was going to end (kudos J. Sterling). If you haven’t read ” The Perfect Game” then stop what you’re doing read it and then go read “The Game Changer” ASAP!
